Keep your Aurelle pieces looking new for years
Everyday Care
Aurelle jewelry is made to be lived in. Wear it through your day — workouts, handwashing, rain — and give it a little care to keep it looking new for years. The two things to avoid across all pieces: prolonged chlorine and saltwater (pools, hot tubs, the ocean) and harsh chemicals (perfume, lotion, household cleaners). Slip your piece off before swimming, rinse and pat dry if it gets wet, and store it dry in its pouch.
Sterling Silver & Gold-Plated Finishes
Our solid sterling silver and thick gold plating resist tarnish far better than ordinary jewelry. To keep the finish its brightest: keep it away from chlorine, saltwater, and chemicals, and buff gently with a soft polishing cloth. Store pieces separately so they don't scratch each other.
Moissanite
One of the hardest, most brilliant stones you can wear — it won't scratch or cloud. If it looks dull, that's just soap or lotion residue: rinse under warm water and dry with a soft cloth to restore full sparkle.
A Quick Note on Hardness (Mohs)
Each stone below lists a Mohs number — the jeweler's 1‑to‑10 scale of scratch resistance, where talc is 1 and diamond is 10. The higher the number, the harder the stone and the better it resists everyday scratches. Anything around 7 and above is well‑suited to jewelry; the lower a stone sits, the gentler it likes to be treated.
Gemstones by Stone
Extremely tough. Safe for everyday wear; clean with warm, soapy water.
Beautiful but more delicate. Warm, soapy water only — never an ultrasonic or steam cleaner — and avoid sharp knocks.

Hard, but splits along a natural plane if struck sharply. Avoid hard knocks, ultrasonic, and steam.
Its purple can fade in prolonged sunlight or heat, so store it shaded and keep it away from steam. Warm, soapy water to clean.
Softer and often treated; keep away from harsh chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth.
Cleaning, Simply
For almost everything: a bowl of warm water with a drop of mild soap, a soft brush or cloth, then pat dry. When in doubt, skip the ultrasonic cleaner.
